Hut 8’s Vancouver Data Center (VAN2 - SWG) is designed to Uptime Institute Tier I standards and provides essential colocation services in a prime location in Downtown Vancouver. Power is supplied via municipal hydro substations, UPS systems, and backup generators for fault tolerance. The cooling and connectivity infrastructure elements have N+1 redundancy, with the majority of power sourced from hydroelectric renewable energy.
